41 House

First constructed in 1900, Cape Arundel Golf Club’s historic hunter green clubhouse overlooking the Kennebunk River was renamed 41 House in 2011 to honor the club’s most famous member and 41st President of the United States George H.W. Bush. In 2009, Cape Arundel Golf Club was named to the National Register of Historic Places, meaning the course, property, and 41 House are considered worthy of preservation and protection as part of America’s cultural heritage.
